Frog Watch: Record the Ribbit!

Frog Watch: Record the Ribbit! At Savannas Preserve State Park -A Citizen Science Opportunity- Jensen Beach, FL – Saturday, July 5th; 7-9pm The Savannas Preserve State park invites you to become a citizen scientist for a night! Join us Saturday, July 5th at 7:00pm for Frog Watch, a program designed by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums to help increase knowledge about amphibian populations. Participants will meet some of our local frog and toad friends, then collect real data for a national database. This data is critical to the design of conservation strategies for declining amphibian species. Frog Watch is a great excuse to get outside, learn something new AND give back at the same time. Be sure to bring your listening ears! Identification is all done by sound. Come on out to your local state park and get involved. These amphibians need your help! This program is free with paid park admission. Reservations are requested at 772 398-2779. For more information on Florida’s award-winning state parks, visit www.FloridaStateParks.org.
