Pines and Pioneers - Partners in Florida History -An interpretive Ranger Program for the whole family- Jensen Beach, FL – From telephone poles to medicine, turpentine to basketry, the humble pine tree has played a part of human culture for millennia. The Savannas Preserve State Park invites you to come learn more at Pines and Pioneers: Partners in Florida History, an interpretive Ranger program offered Saturday, June 28th at 9:00a.m.. Participants will get a close-up look at Florida pine species and learn about their roles in Florida history. This program is free with paid park admission.
